Celebrating Canada's 135th Birthday!
Canada Day Parade - Penetanguishene & Midland

Well we pulled through another parade, or should I say parades. It was a hectic weekend for CyberMoose, and we must not forget that the Spokes-Moose and Moose helper did their share of the work... ok, all the work :) over the Canada Day long weekend.
We managed to squeeze in both the Penetanguishene and Midland Parades over the weekend celebration.
Although temperatures soared into the 30's (Celsius) that weekend, everyone managed to get through the sweltering heat. (Personally, I luv the heat, the hotter the better :)

I would like to express my thanks to Main Street Computers for supplying us with those Kewl key chains that were handed out at both of the parades.

Penetanguishene's Canada Day Parade
June 29, 2002

Penetanguishene's Parade was rather small this year, but that did not make the celebration of Canada's Birthday any less of an event in this town.
After the parade people gathered at the Penetanguishene Centennial Museum to hear some uptown country music and see the craft booths. CyberMoose was just a little overwhelmed by the heat and unfortunately could not attend more of the festivities there........

A patriotic Spokes-Moose
(shorts have moose and maple leafs on them)

Happy Birthday Canada!
I think I need a summer outfit too......

I'm melting.....................
from freezing to sweltering, what we don't endure for the moose......

hmmm, should of put a red maple leaf on the hood.....

Really, we were not the only one in the parade....
I think we should get a kick back from the stores we display in the pictures... hehehe
....where did everybody go.....

Midland's Canada Day Parade
July 1, 2002
Midland celebrated Canada's birthday with a bang! The parade was a huge procession leading into Little Lake Park where we gathered for more festivities.
Little Lake was packed full of fun things to do and see. Clowns roamed the park, while onlookers browsed through the historical displays & arts and crafts tables. For the adventurous there was plenty to do, you could choose from beach volley ball, 2 on 2 basketball or try your hand at slo-pitch.
CyberMoose was just a little overwhelmed in the heat and excitement, he could not take in everything but managed to stop by a few of the displays.......

At the Town Dock...sea faring moose?

Schmoozing with Royalty at the "Blades of Glory" camp
